The annual WTCA Member Seminar is a signature event hosted by the World Trade Centers Association. It is a time for members to learn and network with other World Trade Centers around the world. Read more about the event here.  

At the annual WTCA Member Seminar, WTC Chicago had the opportunity to participate in the “New WTCA Members” only special orientation. During this seminar WTC Chicago engaged in various sessions including “WTC Innovations Exchange”, “Ideas for Monetization”, and a “Speed Networking”. Read more about the event here.

Held by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the forum discusses the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP). Both are considered some of the most notable global trade agreements that the United States is currently involved with. Read more about the roundtable here.

Hosted by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the forum discussed Mexico and Illinois’ vital trade and investment relationship. Mexico is currently Illinois’ second largest trading partner, after Canada. Knowing about Mexico’s economy and international markets is important in order to further connect to other global markets. At the quarterly Global Connections Forum held by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, members discussed forum programming and events for the rest of 2016.
